Develops data science syllabi that clearly outline the course requirements, rationale, goals, and objectives.
Collaborate with operation manager to supervise the work of Newly Qualified Teachers within the Curriculum Area.
Advise in matters concerning staff replacements and instructor’s selection criteria.
Evaluate and observe learning process/instructors (visit class/seat in).
Ensure that data science curriculum is effectively delivered to students of all abilities and the needs of students are met.
Ensure that proper evaluation after class are set up and monitor the quality of the evaluation (final project).
Monitor and evaluate schemes of work and update as appropriate Initiate Curriculum discussion and ensure that there is constant review of teaching approaches and subject content, so that students can progress within school and when they leave.
Performing evaluation at the end of every program to gather feedback and inputs for quality improvements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Information Technology
Have work experience for at least 2+ years as data scientist
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
Have a calling or passion for teaching. You are aware of curriculum building, creating learning materials, drafting evaluation sheet, etc.
Work with great attention to detail and organization.
